The gift of transportation can transform a life, a business, a community. Wheels4Life is a brilliant non-profit charity committed to providing bicycles to people in developing countries around the world. This powerful organization is run by former Mountain Bike World Champion, Hans Ray and his wife Carment and supported by the incredible help of many voluntary project leaders in the field. Wheels 4 Life believes in team work and is changing lives for the better. To date, Wheels4Life has donated almost 12,000 bikes in 30 countries including donations to Global Friends programs in Uganda and Tanzania.

For over a century, the Carpenters’ Union has worked with Industry and government operating under core values that apply to not only the members at work on the construction site, but also to the Executive of the Union. These include pride, productivity, attitude, cooperation, professionalism, quality, safety and service.
The Carpenters Union has supported multiple Global Friends programs including sponsoring a classroom block in Uganda, funding the desks for Shades of Hope, one of the schools Global Friends supports, and donating funds to purchase tools for automotive vocational training
